Psychotherapy Services

Individual psychotherapy at Kaïa Psychology offers a space to slow down, make sense of what hurts, and gently transform the patterns that interfere with emotional balance, relationships, and a sense of self. Therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that healing is not about fixing what is broken, but reconnecting with inner strength and agency.

We support individuals navigating trauma and post-traumatic stress (including complex trauma and recovery from interpersonal violence), difficulties with emotion regulation and impulsivity, anxiety and panic, depression and low self-worth, relational and attachment patterns, burnout and major life transitions, as well as identity development and self-acceptance.

Our clinicians draw from evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Each therapeutic process is thoughtfully tailored, integrating psychoeducation, practical skills, and deeper reflective work to support lasting change.

Counselling

Parent Coaching Sessions

Parent coaching at Kaïa Psychology offers supportive, practical guidance for parents who want to better understand their child, strengthen their connection, and feel more confident in their parenting. Sessions focus on understanding behaviours, supporting emotional regulation, and building realistic strategies that fit your family’s needs, without judgment.

Family Therapy

A collaborative space for families to understand relational dynamics, improve communication, reduce conflict, and strengthen emotional safety and connection between family members.

Couples Therapy

Support for partners seeking to improve communication, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, or clarify relational needs in a structured, respectful, and emotionally informed setting.

Child and Teen Therapy 

Developmentally sensitive therapy for children and adolescents to support emotional regulation, identity development, behaviour, and relationships, in collaboration with caregivers when appropriate.

Group Therapy
