Psycholegal Services

Psycholegal services support individuals, families, and legal professionals by delivering objective, evidence-based psychological expertise within legal and judicial contexts. These services focus on the assessment of complex psychosocial dynamics, high-conflict family situations, parental capacities, risk factors, trauma, credibility, and relational functioning. Psycholegal work aims to clarify the psychological issues relevant to legal decision-making, inform courts and attorneys, and contribute to fair, structured, and ethically grounded outcomes that prioritize safety, functioning, and the best interests of those involved.

Psychotherapy

Clinical therapy where there is a legal context (e.g., trauma therapy for victims involved in proceedings, court-mandated treatment, support for parents in custody disputes).

Psycholegal Expertise

We conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations in legal and quasi-legal settings, including matters involving parental alienation, domestic or family violence, trauma-related impact, criminal responsibility, and workplace or insurance disputes. Evaluations may include record review, clinical interviews, collateral consultations, and standardized psychological testing when indicated, culminating in an integrated written report and preparation for legal proceedings.

Psychosocial Expertise

Psychosocial expertise involves a neutral, structured evaluation of parenting capacity, child well-being, custody and access arrangements, and family dynamics. These mandates are conducted by qualified psychosocial experts (psychologists or social workers) and are carried out with rigor and impartiality. The process may include intake interviews, collateral consultations (e.g., schools, child protection services, health professionals), parent–child observations, and the preparation of a comprehensive written report.

First Responders Services

Specialized services for police, paramedics, firefighters, correctional officers, and other first responders.

PIFE Intervention

Intervention model for parent–child relationship repair in high-conflict separation or parental alienation contexts. Structured sessions with children and parents, often court-mandated. Focus on rebuilding trust, communication, and co-parenting cooperation.

Family Therapy for High-Conflict Families

Therapeutic intervention for families experiencing entrenched conflict, often in parallel to or following court processes. Involves joint sessions, individual family member meetings, and systemic work. May be recommended by lawyers, mediators, or judges.

Consultation with Lawyers

Assisting legal professionals with psychological expertise (case review, strategy, critique of opposing experts, report preparation).
