Mélyna Lebel
Social Worker
Expert witness before the Superior Court
Family & Co-Parenting Support
Social Worker since 2021, she specializes in psychosocial expertise in the context of child custody, high-conflict separation, parent–child relationship restoration, and the analysis of complex family dynamics.
She began her practice in youth protection services, where she worked in the application of protective measures. This experience quickly confirmed her interest in supporting families, whether separated or not, as well as children and adolescents facing a range of challenges.
Her practice is guided by professional rigour, active listening, and a deep sensitivity to the lived experiences of families. She adopts a human, nuanced approach grounded in respect for individual rights and the best interests of the child.
Curious and committed, she continues to pursue her professional development. She has a particular interest in parental mental health, family transitions, post-separation co-parenting, parent–child relationship restoration, as well as loyalty conflicts and situations involving parental alienation.
While her practice is primarily oriented toward these contexts, she also works with children, adolescents, and families facing a variety of psychosocial challenges and life transitions.
Her goal is to support families, individuals, and youth through their challenges by fostering a nuanced understanding of their reality and contributing to tailored, thoughtful interventions aligned with their needs.
