Caroline Chaput
Social Worker
Expert witness before the Superior Court
An experienced social worker, Caroline Chaput has been working with children, parents, and families in complex situations for nearly 18 years. Her practice lies at the intersection of psychosocial intervention, high-conflict family dynamics, and legal expert assessments.
Passionate about protecting children's well-being, she supports parents caught up in significant relationship tensions, with the constant goal of reducing the impact of conflict on children and putting their needs back at the center of decisions. She intervenes in particular in contexts of conflictual co-parenting, broken relationships, domestic violence, and concerns related to parenting abilities.
Recognized for her rigour, structure, and ability to handle emotionally charged situations, Caroline adopts a stance that is at once humane, firm, and nuanced. She attaches great importance to clarity of analysis, fairness between parents, and recommendations rooted in the best interests of the child.
Through the Centre d'Évaluation Psychosociale, she works closely with lawyers, psychologists, and various professionals to provide in-depth, ethical, and clinically sound assessments in cases where human and legal issues are closely intertwined.
